L'assurance-collision sans franchise (ACF) et la protection vol (PV) sont obligatoires et comprises dans le tarif. Jusqu’à concurrence de 2 000 000,00 $ NT par personne pour les blessures. Le montant de la franchise se situe entre 10 000 et 50 000 NT$, selon les catégories de véhicules.

La SACF (Super assurance collision sans franchise) peut être souscrite au comptoir avec un montant entre 400 $ NT et 1 300 $ NT selon les catégories de véhicules, afin de réduire la franchise à zéro.

Avis Taïwan accepte les cartes American Express, MasterCard, JCB, Union Pay et Visa Remarque  : les cartes de débit ou les espèces ne seront pas acceptées comme option de paiement.

La période de validité doit être supérieure à 6 mois.

Pour la population locale : Identification et permis de conduire valide. Pour les étrangers pendant les 30 premiers jours ou moins à Taiwan : Passeport. Permis de conduire local délivré par le pays du locataire et permis de conduire international (PCI) valide. Après vos 30 premiers jours à Taiwan, vous devez présenter une demande au bureau des véhicules automobiles pour une prolongation de votre PCI.

Public liability insurance is in accordance with the insurance laws of the country.  Customer may inquire at the time of rental for additional information of the benefits, conditions and acceptance.

Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles.  The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental.  Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.

If The Renter Fails To Pick Up The Rental Vehicle At The Reserved Time,
We Will Hold The Car For An Additional 4 Hours After Said
Appointed Time. After That, The Reservation Is Considered as No Show, And
Will Be Cancelled. No Show Fee may apply.

Due to coronavirus pandemic the Taiwan Government are constantly updating local regulations regarding face-masks and self-isolation etc. Please note that Avis Budget & Zipcar have no choice but to follow these regulations and require all customers to do the same.  We do look forward to receiving your cooperation and understanding.

Customers are required to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level upon picking up the vehicle. If a customer chooses not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, they will be charged using the local rate. A full tank of gas is not guaranteed.

Fuel option
Fuel Card will be provided per rental. Should lessees(renter) required petrol top-up, Only use provided Fuel Card for top-up at designated petrol station. Provide receipt of petrol purchased when returning to rental stations. Using any other means of payment (Cash, Credit/Debit Card...etc) will not be reimbursed. Fiill-up the tank before returning the vehicle. If car returned without tank filled up, a NTD 100 service fee will be applied.

Fuel charges
Fuel charges will be settled by station staff according to the distance travelled throughout the rental service. Charges for fuel, will be evaluate and announced per season.

Can I let anyone else drive?

Additional driver must present their valid IDP (International Driving Permit) and inform the counter when picking-up the car at the counter. Additional driver will be charged NT$120 per person. (One additional driver max).
All additional drivers must meet our age, driving licence and ID requirements.

What happens if I break down because of a mechanical failure?
All our vehicles are maintained to the manufacturer's standards, and they're roadworthy when you pick them up so mechanical failure in our vehicles is rare. So long as you're using the vehicle in a country we've agreed to, we provide roadside assistance or recovery free of charge. You can only use our roadside assistance provider to help you. You'll find their contact details inside the vehicle.

I want to keep the vehicle for longer, what should I do?
If you want to extend the rental please contact us at booking@avis-taiwan.com or 24/7 hotline +886-2-6620-6620 as soon as possible. If the extension is available, extra fees will be charged and pay with location price.
What happens if I don't extend the rental?
If you fail to extend your rental and are late returning the vehicle, we will charge you for an extra day's rental plus a late return administration fee for each day or part of a day until the vehicle is returned.

Taking the vehicle outside the country is not allowed.
