Le permis de conduire doit avoir été émis :

1 an pour les catégories A, B, C, D, F, G, K, N, O
5 ans pour toutes les catégories de véhicules

L'assurance responsabilité civile est conforme aux lois sur les assurances du pays.  Le client peut demander des informations supplémentaires sur les avantages, les conditions et l'acceptation au moment de la location.

Remarque : Certains émetteurs de cartes de crédit offrent une couverture, sous réserve de certaines restrictions, à titre d’avantage pour avoir loué leur véhicule.  On conseille au client de communiquer avec l’émetteur de la carte avant la location.  Toute renonciation doit être mentionnée directement à l’arrivée, en même temps que la location.

Informations en dehors des heures d’ouverture :
Si le locataire souhaite prendre en charge un véhicule en dehors des heures d'ouverture, il doit le demander au moment de la réservation. Les frais pour le service en dehors des heures d’ouverture sont de 23 EUR, hors TVA.

Flotte Prestige
Si le locataire souhaite prendre en charge un véhicule en dehors des heures d'ouverture, il doit le demander au moment de la réservation. Les frais pour le service en dehors des heures d’ouverture sont de 30 EUR, hors TVA.

Des frais excl. de 30,00 EUR. Des frais de TVA s’appliqueront sur les locations en dehors des heures d’ouverture lorsque la succursale est fermée.

L'âge minimal requis dans cette succursale est de 21 ans pour toutes les catégories de véhicules, à l'exception des catégories suivantes : l'âge minimal requis est de 25 ans pour les voitures de catégorie L et P.  Un supplément Jeune conducteur s’applique aux conducteurs âgés de 21 à 24 ans. Le supplément Jeune conducteur est de 10,00 EUR par jour et par conducteur, avec un maximum de 10 jours et 100,00 EUR par location et par conducteur. Il n'y a pas de limite d'âge tant qu'il y a un permis de conduire valide.
Les locataires et conducteurs Avis Prestige doivent être âgés de 21 ans pour les véhicules de catégorie A, B et C et âgés de 25 ans pour toutes les autres catégories de véhicules.

Changer de succursale de restitution
La restitution du véhicule à une succursale différente de celle de la prise en charge est autorisée moyennant des frais supplémentaires.

Une carte de paiement (Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Amex, Diners ou carte de crédit émise par Avis) est requise pour toutes les locations. Cependant, le locataire n'a pas besoin de sa carte de crédit pour effectuer une réservation en ligne. Nous demandons seulement de savoir quel type de carte de crédit le locataire va utiliser au moment réel de la location.

Le locataire doit utiliser une carte de paiement (crédit ou débit) au moment de la location en son propre nom.

Les cartes suivantes sont des modes de paiement acceptés :

MONTANT PRÉAUTORISÉ SUR CARTE DE CRÉDIT OU CARTE DE DÉBIT : Budget prélèvera un acompte correspondant au montant estimatif de la location plus jusqu’à 500 EUR qui sera autorisé sur la carte de débit ou de crédit du locataire au moment de la location. Dans le cas où la Super Couverture est achetée ou incluse, l'autorisation sera le montant estimatif de la location plus jusqu'à 150 EUR. Ce montant ne sera plus disponible pour votre usage immédiat et peut prendre jusqu'à 14 jours, selon votre banque, pour devenir disponible. Nous ne serons pas responsables des chèques sans fonds ou des frais de fonds insuffisants ou des frais bancaires liés à ce processus.

Cross border rental is possible under the following conditions:

•  Booking must be made at the Contact Center of Avis Greece (tel: +30 210 6879800, e-mail: contact@avis.gr).
•  Cross Border is only allowed in the following countries:
•  Albania, Andorra, Cyprus, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Portugal, Denmark, Iceland, Malta, Romania, Turkey, Moldavia, Finland, Ireland, Montenegro, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Israel , Morocco, Slovenia, Bulgaria, FYROM, Italy, Northern Ireland, Spain.
•  Booking must be on request only for categories A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L, M & N. Not allowed for services: Avis Van Rental, Avis Prestige, Avis Flex.
•  There must be a written approval by Avis Greece at the start of the rental (not just by the booking process).
•  Payment is via Avis central account and/or credit card. The credit card is always required to guarantee the rental of a car, based on Avis General Rental Terms.
•  There will be additional costs for issuing the Green Card, for which you can get informed when making the booking. If the rental is over 1 month, additional Green Card(s) must be issued at extra cost. This cost is charged to the customer.
•  The renter is obliged to return the car to Greece.
•  The driver must have the new type of driving license (in Latin characters).

1) Third Party Cover
Also known as: Motor Liability Insurance, Legal Liability Insurance

What's covered?
Covers third parties in case of death or body injuries, including passengers (except the driver of the Avis vehicle), when using the Avis vehicle up to Euro 1.300.000 and material damages to third parties up to Euro 1.300.000.

What's not covered?
Theft or attempted theft of the vehicle.
Theft of personal belongings from the vehicle.
Death or injury to the driver.
Damage to the rental vehicle.

If the rental car is damaged by a car accident or fire, the renter will be covered for the cost of the repairs of the Avis vehicle. However, the renter has to pay an excess up to EUR 900 for car groups A, B, N, I, EUR 1100 for car groups C, D, E, F, G, H, EUR 1.350 for car groups J, K, M, O, and EUR 2.000 for car groups L & P towards the repair costs, storage charges and loss of use, regardless of whether he or her was at fault or not. 3) Vehicle Theft Cover

What's covered?
It covers the cost of replacing the rental car (or parts of it) if it gets stolen. The renter may have to pay an excess, which varies by country, so he or her is asked to check the Terms & Conditions of the selected country at the time of booking. In Greece the renter will have to pay an excess up to EUR 900 for car groups A, B, I & N, EUR 1100 for car groups C, D, E, F, G, H EUR 1.350 for car groups J, K, M, O and EUR 2.000 for car group L, P.

What's not covered?
Negligence regarding loading of a vehicle (e.g. car unsupervised) or keys safe keeping (e.g. left in ignition).

What's the cost?

4) Super Cover
What’s covered?
Completely eliminates the excess amounts of Collision Damage Cover (CDW) and Vehicle Theft Cover (TP) for all car groups. Mandatory condition is that the renter completes and signs the Avis Accident Report before the end of the rental. If another vehicle is involved in the accident with the Avis car, it is mandatory that the renter calls the road assistance company, indicated by Avis, for the recording of the accident and the photographing of the vehicles. It also covers glass damages and damage underneath the vehicle.

What's not covered?
Damage caused intentionally or by negligence.
Damage caused by incorrect fuel.
Damage caused as a result of a breach of the rental agreement’s terms and conditions.
Damage caused as a result of acts of God and terrorist attacks.
Damage caused while Avis car was on board ship.
