Drop Box NOT Available: If the location does not have a key drop box, the location does not permit vehicles to be left after closing hours. The customer should never lock or leave the keys inside the car. The customer is responsible for the vehicle & all charges (including any damages to or theft of the vehicle and locksmith fees if they choose to lock the keys in the car). The customer can either choose to return the car the next day the location is open OR change the Drop Off Location to the nearest Regional Airport. Customer is responsible for all charges related to the drop-off modification.

Avis Turkey accepts all major credit cards. Debit cards and GEB Billing Credit Cards are not accepted.
Pre-authorizations and Security Deposits
Unless confirmed otherwise, the amount of the pre-authorisation taken on pick-up of the rental vehicle is calculated as follows:
(The vehicle rental price* + Between TUL 3,000.00 and TUL 8,500.00**) MINUS (Any sum you have already paid when making a "Pay Now" booking)
* The "vehicle rental price" includes the vehicle rental cost and all optional extras you've requested, calculated at the start of the rental based on the intended length of the rental. For the avoidance of any doubt, any "Pay at Location" amount you owe in relation to the vehicle rental (including any optional extras) will be included as part of the pre-authorisation and will be charged to you at the end of the rental (using the card provided for the purposes of the pre-authorisation, unless agreed otherwise).
** If you buy our "Fuel Up Front" product, we will reduce the Between TUL 3,000.00 and TUL 8,500.00 by the amount we charge you for the "Fuel Up Front" product
The Between TUL 2,500.00 and TUL 8,500.00 is included as part of the pre-authorisation in case we have to charge you at the end of the rental for any of the following:
i. costs to refuel the vehicle (where relevant).
ii. additional rental charges in circumstances where you fail to return the vehicle or any optional extras at the end of the agreed rental period or to the agreed return location.
iii. any additional charges or fines you incur relating to your use of the vehicle (which we have been notified of prior to you returning the vehicle, which will include, for example, charges relating to traffic violations); and/or
iv. costs incurred as a result of exceeding any relevant mileage restrictions.
Where the pre-authorisation we take does not cover the charges you incur, we will request you make a further payment for the additional amounts owed.
In relation to certain high value vehicles, we may require you to provide us with two payment cards for the purposes of the pre-authorisation. Where this is the case, this will be confirmed when making a booking.

Debit Card Policies
Drivers License
Renters and additional drivers must have held a full driving license for:
- A minimum of one year for A, B, N, F car groups,
- A minimum of two years for D, H, O, J, P, I car groups,
- A minimum of three years for G, C, E, K, L, M car groups.
Each driver must show photographic proof of identity or their passport at the start of the rental. All drivers must present a full and valid driving licence which has been held for at least 1 year. The licence must be valid for use in the renting country.
International customers must show their passport at the begining of their rental. Otherwise due to Turkish regulation and police restrictions car wouldnt be provided. If your licence is in non-roman alphabet you must provide an International Driving Licence.
International driving licence is required for non-Roman alphabet licence holders.
Personal Accident Insurance
PAI - Personal Accident Insurance
133.00 TUL+TAX per day.
This coverage provides a compensation of 50000.00 TUL in case of permanent injury or death for each person in the rented car. Medical expenses are not included in this coverage.
Public Liability and Property Damage
Note: Some credit cards provide insurance coverage, with certain limitations, as a benefit of using the card to rent vehicles. The customer is advised to contact the card issuer before the rental. Any waiver must be discussed directly with the location upon arrival.
Additional Driver Policy
Age Requirements
The minimum age must be 19 for A, B, N, F car groups, and 23 for O, P car groups, and 25 for H, D, I, J, and 27 for G, L, K, E, C, M car groups.Any renter between 19 & 21 years old is subjected to young driver fee and can only rent A, B, N, F car groups. Any renter between 21 & 23 years old is subjected to young driver fee and can only rent O, P car groups. Any renter between 23 & 25 years old is subjected to young driver fee and can only rent H, D, J car groups.
Young driver fee is TUL 491.00 daily.
In order to be applied Young Driver, zero excess coverage is required. Zero excess coverage includes Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Super Collision Damage Waiver and Super Theft Protections. For further information, please ask a member of our team.
