TERMS AND CONDITIONS: To qualify for the Free Days promotion, eligible customers must be enrolled in Avis Preferred and register for the Free Days promotion online at avis.com/freedays with a valid Avis Preferred Wizard Number and the email address associated with their Avis Preferred Wizard Number profile. An Avis Preferred Wizard Number can be obtained free of charge by visiting avis.com/preferred.
Customers must register for the Free Days promotion between August 26, 2026, and February 28, 2027. Customers will receive confirmation of enrollment via the email address associated with the Avis Preferred Wizard Number profile within two (2) days of registration. This promotion only applies to residents of the U.S. (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada.
Customers can earn one (1) Free Day for completing two (2) Qualifying Rentals at Avis participating locations in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands between August 26, 2026 and February 28, 2027. A Qualifying Rental is defined as a paid rental consisting of a minimum of two paid consecutive days’ base charges. Customer must reserve an Intermediate car class or above.
Only one Qualifying Rental will count toward the promotion if multiple rentals occur during the same timeframe. Reservations must be made with the enrolled Preferred Member/Wizard Number. If registration takes place after the date the promotion begins, Qualifying Rentals accumulating towards Free Days will only be tracked from the first day of the month registration is completed (e.g. if the customer registers on January 10, 2027, rentals taking place from January 1, 2027, will count towards the Free Days promotion, but any that took place in December 2026 or prior will not.)
Customers will receive, via email, a monthly statement containing a coupon code valued at the number of Free Days earned the previous month. A maximum of five (5) Free Days can be earned each month. These rewards can be redeemed online at www.avis.com or www.avis.ca only. The number of Free Days associated with each coupon issued must be used on a single rental and cannot be combined or used with other coupons. Unused Free Days will not carry over to future rentals. (For example, if a customer redeems a 5-day coupon on a 3-day rental, he or she cannot apply the 2 unused days to a future rental or combine the unused days with another coupon.) Blackout dates and other restrictions apply.
By enrolling in the Free Days promotion, customer accepts that Free Days coupons will be sent to the email address provided at time of registration.
Rentals made with any of the following discount codes or profile types will not qualify for the promotion: corporate accounts that do not allow employees to participate in reward programs; Avis WEB/GEB accounts; employee rates for Avis or any affiliated company or licensee, government, travel industry, tour, wholesale or convention rates; rentals booked on Priceline or Hotwire; rentals that receive mileage/credits/points for a frequent traveler program (i.e. airline frequent flyer, hotel points program, etc.); rentals already using a Free Days coupon.
The Free Days coupon is redeemable on an Economy (Group A) through a Full Size (Group E) for rentals that begin October 15, 2026 and are completed by May 21, 2027. You must use a valid Avis Preferred Wizard number when making a reservation using an Avis Free Days coupon and all Free Days associated with the coupon must be used at one time. Coupon is redeemable at participating locations in the U.S., Canada, PR and US VI excluding the New York, NY metro area. Taxes, concession recovery fee, customer facility charges ($10/contract in CA) and fuel charges are extra and are not included in the Free Days coupon. Optional items such as LDW and other surcharges may apply and are extra. If the rental period exceeds the value of the Free Days coupon, the renter is responsible for any additional time and mileage charges. Coupon cannot be used for one-way rentals. One coupon per rental and coupons can be used only once. Offer may not be used in conjunction with any other coupon, promotion or offer. An advanced reservation is required. Offer subject to vehicle availability at time of reservation and may not be available on some rates at some times. Holiday and other blackout periods may apply. For reservations made on Avis.com or avis.ca, Free Day will be applied at time of rental. Avis reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions and use of coupons. Avis reserves the right to refuse or expire coupons at any time without prior notification.
Coupons cannot be applied to completed rentals. Renter must meet Avis age, driver and credit requirements. Minimum age may vary by location. An additional daily surcharge may apply for renters under 25 years old and is extra. Coupons have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged or returned, are non-refundable, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
Promotion terms are subject to change. Avis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend the Free Days promotion in the event the promotion is incapable of running as originally planned.
