A Wizard® Number is your personal member identification with Avis. The Avis Wizard® Number is the easiest way to manage your Avis reservations. With a Wizard® Number, you can store your rental preferances in your profile, making reservations easier and faster. Also, by logging in to your My Avis account, you can quickly and easily track, view, modify or cancel your upcoming reservations, and get receipts for past rentals with just one click. It's free and easy to get one - just register for My Avis or enroll in Preferred® Service today.

Register online in My Avis or join Avis® Preferred® Service and you'll automatically receive a Wizard® Number. We'll also mail you a membership card with your Wizard® Number. You can also get one at a location, through your company if they have a corporate relationship with Avis, or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-352-7900.

For customers who have registered with avis.ca and have a My Avis profile, just login and click on "Edit" in the "Identity Information" module on the My Account page. Enter the name change you'd like to make and submit the form. If you do not have a My Avis profile, you may call Customer Service at 1-800-352-7900 to request a name change.

For customers who have registered with avis.ca and have a My Avis profile, just login and click on "Change Country" in the "Contact Information" module on the My Account page. Select your new country of residence and submit the form. If you do not have a My Avis profile, you may call Customer Service at 1-800-352-7900 to request a country change. Please note, Avis® Preferred® Service members cannot change their country of residence.

For customers who have registered with avis.ca and have a My Avis profile, just login to your account. You can find your Wizard® Number in the "Identity Information" module on the My Account page.

On the login page, just click the link "I forgot my Username/Wizard® Number." Then enter your first and last name, plus the charge card type, and charge card number stored on your profile and we'll return your Wizard® Number. Don't have a charge card on your profile or can't remember the card you used? Just call Customer Service at 1-800-352-7900.

If you've misplaced your Wizard® card or have changed your name and need to request an updated card, just call Customer Service at 1-800-352-7900 and we'll send a replacement.

You can still make a reservation on avis.ca with an expired or cancelled charge card number, but you will need to provide a valid charge card at the time of rental. Avis® Preferred® Service members will need to stop at the counter before going out to their assigned vehicle. To avoid this hassle, we recommend you update the charge card on your profile before making any reservations.

For customers who have registered with avis.ca and have a My Avis profile, updating information in your profile is easy! Just login and choose the information module from the right side of the My Account page that you would like to update. After making your changes, be sure to save the information.

For customer's without an online profile, register for My Avis today to begin managing your information and rentals with ease, or call Customer Service for further assistance at 1-800-352-7900.

An Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) Number is a unique number assigned to an Avis account or programme that identifies eligibility for contracted features or rates. Identification of membership is required at time of rental.

An Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) Number for advertised promotions may be found in newspapers, magazines or television ads; by clicking banner ads on websites; or on the avis.ca website.

If you're a member of an organization or company that partners with Avis, please contact that organization directly and ask whether it has an Avis Worldwide Discount Number you may use for your rental. Remember, company or organization AWD numbers may only be used by eligible persons and should never be disclosed to others.
